The 1975 – A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships | Video Review

The 1975 return with a new album, A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships, continuing the band’s storied tradition of creating ridiculously long album titles.

The 1975 offer much greater experimentation with their sound on this new project. The band dabble with R&B, Funk and Electro sounds, to augment their traditional Indie Pop roots.

Singer Matty Healy and drummer George Daniel produce the album, both were heavily involved in the Pale Waves debut project, which I felt sounded too close to The 1975. However on A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships, the soundscape perfectly matches the band. For my money this is the band’s best album yet.
