Drake – Scorpion | Video Review

Drake has released Scorpion, his first studio album since 2016’s Views – of course this ignores last year’s pleasurable playlist More Life. At 25 tracks and 90 minutes in lengthScorpion is quite an undertaking and not recommended for consumption in a single sitting.

There are bright spots on this album like the heartfelt “March 14” where Drake talks to his recently announced son, and of course lead singles “Nice for What” and “God’s Plan” remain certified bangers. There are a few subtle responses to the Pusha-T beef, that so profoundly altered how Scorpion sounds, much of it sounds like it was recently recorded.
