Nas – Nasir | Video Review

The first Nas album since 2012 is here, and like a wet dream from 2004 it is entirely produced by Kanye West [with assistance from Mike Dean on all but one track]. Something which has impressed me with these Kanye-helmed project is how well the beats suit the artist, Nasir is no exception. It offers an old school yet fresh vibe and even has a Slick Rick sample!

Despite some mixed reaction from the music press, I am here to assure you that this is a great album. Like the previous entries in Kanye’s recent GOOD Summer series, Nasir is seven tracks long and under 25 minutes in length.
