Liam Payne, formerly of One Direction launched his solo career in earnest last year with “Strip That Down” featuring Quavo of Migos. He followed the success of this with hit singles; “Get Low” with Zedd, “Familiar” with J Balvin, and “For You” with Rita Ora.

Payne uses his public breakup with Cheryl Tweedy as material for plenty of tracks on First Time. The tabloid rags have been rife with speculation and hot takes on this project.
