Big K.R.I.T. – TDT | Video Review

TDT is a compilation of late-2018 mixtapes from Mississippi’s Big K.R.I.T., combining his three most recent EPs – Thrice X, Double Down and Trifecta. K.R.I.T. has been relatively quiet since dropping his 2017 double album, 4eva Is a Mighty Long Time, a rare recent example of a mostly enjoyable Hip-Hop double album.

Since breaking out with the classic mixtape K.R.I.T. Wuz Here in 2010 Big K.R.I.T. has been one of the foremost rappers on the underground circuit. Considering he emerged at the same time as Kendrick Lamar, it is encouraging to note K.R.I.T.’s longevity in the rap game.

TDT is an interesting project from the Mississippi rapper and I was pleased to hear that the majority of the experimental moments were pulled off successfully.
