Billie Eilish – When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? | Video Review

When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? is the debut album from 17-year-old singer-songwrtier Billie Eilish. Thankfully it rises above the low bar set by Charli XCX’s first project 14.

Along with her brother Finneas O’Connell When We All Fall Asleep is entirely produced and written by the duo, who create a dark Electro soundscape. This project required a few listens before I understood what Billie was trying to achieve with it.

Ahead of this project Billie released a trio of successful singles: “When the Party’s Over”, “Bury a Friend” and “Wish You Were Gay”. These songs really put her on the map and gave a great deal of mainstream attention to Eilish.
