Our video review will look into the debut project from LD, leader of Brixton-based Drill crew 67. The group consists of LD,
LD is the first member of his group to release a solo project, The Masked One features some of the best lyricism I have ever heard from him. On some 67 tracks LD could feel anonymous, however on The Masked One he is forced into the forefront.
It’s refreshing to hear LD take the lead and offer enough charisma and energy to carry the project. Despite a slew of great guest features from the likes of Tiggs Da Author, K-Trap, R6, Do Road, Young Adz, Dizzee Rascal, Fredzino, Belly Squad, Monkey and ASAP, LD never loses his command over the project.
