Khalid – Free Spirit | Video Review

Free Spirit is the sophomore album from Khalid, coming two years after his breakout project American Teen. During this time Khalid has become one of the most successful pop artists around.

Fitting for an artist in his position, Free Spirit caters towards the mainstream, and has all the makings of a big budget album, with production credits from certified hit-makers such as StarGate, Hit-Boy and Murda Beatz.

Most notable is the return of British production duo Disclosure after a near-two year hiatus. They produce lead single, “Talk” which is far closer to Eletropop than the Future Garage sound the brothers built their sound upon, teasing at a possible new direction.
