Chris Brown – Indigo | Album Review

Chris Brown’s ninth studio album is here, the bloated Indigo contains 32 tracks, lasting at close to two hours. This is the second consecutive Chris Brown album to be overloaded with tracks, in the hopes of generating additional streaming revenue.

This practice of ‘stream trolling’ was a defining feature of his 2017 album, Heartbreak on a Full Moon, a project with a disgraceful 45 tracks. With this many tracks available for streaming, it is no wonder Heartbreak on a Full Moon went Double Platinum in the United States.

Indigo is a cynical project, stuffed with generic R&B and Hip-Hop tracks just for streaming purposes.
