Blood Orange – Negro Swan | Video Review

Dev Hynes’ Blood Orange project returns with the fourth studio album,  Negro Swan. We haven’t heard from Blood Orange since 2016’s Freetown Sound, a project which was well-received by the critics but inconsistent.

Negro Swan is a very personal journey, full of insights into a difficult childhood of trying to find acceptance in East London. The message of this album was reinforced by inspiring spoken word monologues from Janet Mock.

As a successful producer, Dev was able to secure some memorable guest features on this project – A$AP Rocky, Project Pat and Steve Lacy all have great moments on Negro Swan.
